One weekend in October 2005, five guys teamed up to jam and play some Bluegrass, just to have a good time After a while they realized that they really had something going on, which they wanted to develop. So they met again a few months later.
This time they all agreed to make something out of it. The group G2 was started. Considering the fact that all of the guys are somewhere in their 20s, they are a considerably young band and resemble the younger Bluegrass musicians of Sweden today.
Therefore, they are the second generation of Bluegrass players, with their future ahead of them. G2 is a band built upon friendship and all of the guys knew each other before they started to play as a group.
These guys are determined to play the Bluegrass and they do it in their own way. Already after just a few sessions, the band found their personal sound. Now, its just a matter of time…
